Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve is an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing excellence in health care. Our Senior Life Community features Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, & Rehabilitation. LHCR is open to individuals of all faiths. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Private Pay and several private insurances. We are located on 24 beautiful acres at 2116 Dover Center Road in Westlake, Ohio.

Our History

The Lutheran Home for the Aged was founded in Westlake, Ohio in 1932. A small group of Lutherans, “with a little vision and a little more faith” recognized the need to provide old-age support for elderly poor who had no family to care for them. After much prayer, many meetings, the crash of the Stock Market, and the onset of the Great Depression, Lutheran Home for the Aged was incorporated by the State of Ohio on October 23, 1932.
